Tea Party Alliance to speak at Liberty Day Picnic

Northern Liberty Alliance will host the annual Liberty Picnic on Tuesday, July 16th at the Family Center, Bayfront Park from 5:30p.m. to 8:30p.m. The family-style event has food, music, a dozen speakers and features a "Golden Pig Award" ceremony to highlight government waste.  Jack Rogers and Jake Duesenberg will speak at the event about the growth of the Tea Party in the Twin Cities area.

"This event marks a transition from the protest of rally-style-events, to the participation of a permanent conservative presence in the Northland," said Becky Hall, President Northern Liberty Alliance.

The NLA does not endorse candidates.  Declared candidates from all aspects of the political field were invited including: Governor, Lt. Governor, Congressional, U.S. Senate, County Commissions, Legislative and City Council.  Below is a list of speakers who have committed to the invitation.

Along with these speakers, former U.S. Senate Candidate, Doc Severson, Pine County Sheriff Robin Cole will be participating.
